First let me introduce myself! I was born and raised in North Jersey, I received my BFA at William Paterson University with a focus on 3D Modeling! I realized shortly before graduating that I didn't want to be a 3D modeler for the rest of my life and I really wasn't sure what to do. All I knew, is that I wanted to find a career that I was passionate about and where I could be creative!
I moved further and further South over the years until I landed in Cherry Hill in 2008 and made it my home! A friend gave me this little pink, Kodak, snapshot camera, that you really shouldn't use for video, but I started making these short highlights for the Ministry I'm a part of. I remember how weird my friends thought I was filming them that first time, but quickly changed their minds once they saw what I did with the footage.
It took me a while but I finally figured out what I wanted to do for the rest of my life! I wanted to be a Wedding Cinematographer! Which brings us to today, Ive been doing this since 2011 and I absolutely love my job! There's something so special about filming the biggest day of someones life and turning it into a memory they can watch for years to come! I love capturing the beauty of the day and their love, on film, and turning it into a story! Clients always tell me that they can't wait to see the Video and I reply "Me too!" Designing a Wedding film is like putting a puzzle together, I never know exactly what I'm going to do with the footage but in the end I have this perfect masterpiece that I'm really proud of, I admittedly watch my own films over and over again for enjoyment after they are complete!
I'm so thankful for all the support of my friends, family and colleagues! The people I have met over the years in the wedding Industry are absolutely amazing! From my experience, this industry is full of people who build one another up and help each other out! I'm so blessed that I get to do what I love for a living and spread love back in return!
