When I graduated from college with a BFA in art I struggled to figure out what I wanted to do when I grew up! Haha! And then this amazing thing happened, with a lousy pink Kodak snapshot camera that a friend gave to me (That really wasn’t suitable for video or even HD) I finally found what I had been looking for! What started out as a hobby turned into my passion! I looked for any reason to possibly make a video. I remember my friends thought I was creepy at first until they saw the final product! Haha! Don’t worry, they approve of my ninja skills now! Being a wedding videographer has always been about storytelling for me, about capturing the raw, genuine moments that make time stand still. But wedding filmmaking? That’s where my heart truly found its home.
Every couple I work with has a unique story—one filled with laughter, love, and beautiful, fleeting moments that make their wedding day so special. And it’s an honor and a privilege to be invited in to witness them! My heart’s desire is to capture these memories in a way that feels natural, timeless, and deeply personal (And blow you away in the process). What I love the most about what I do is the connection I build with people; people are what’s important! This isn’t just a job for me—it’s personal. I love the couples I meet from South Jersey and Philadelphia, and I believe that comes through in my work! I take the time to get to know each couple, I believe it is important for you to feel safe and at ease with me, after all, you’re going to be spending the majority of your wedding day with myself and the photographer! And the more at ease you are with me, the more comfortable you’ll be in front of my camera! It’s also important for me to understand your love story, your personalities, and what matters most to you. This connection allows me to capture your day authentically, without forcing moments or making you feel like you’re performing for the camera. Instead, I can focus on what’s most important, the unplanned, imperfectly perfect moments! (And you, of course!).
One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is hearing the rave reviews from my couples after they’ve watched their films! Spreading joy makes my heart so full and is something engrained in the very fibers of my being! It’s the ultimate payment! (Now, don’t get me wrong, I still have to charge for my services, my cats not gonna feed herself!) All of my couples tell me they can’t get enough of their films and they watch them over and over again! Sometimes they are just speechless and don’t know how to put their admiration into words! And making the groom cry, that is the best compliment anyone can give me and speaks volumes to my heart!
