Crystal + Christopher’s wedding at Rock Island Lake Club in Sparta, NJ was everything I love about filming weddings in New Jersey—heartfelt, emotional, and full of joy from start to finish. These two wrote the most beautiful handwritten vows, and let me tell you… “Guys, we have a crier!” (I loooove when the groom cries… is that weird? 🥹) I may have shed a tear or two myself!

You really can’t go wrong with the scenic backdrop at Rock Island Lake Club, one of the most stunning lakeside wedding venues in New Jersey. The sunsets here are next-level gorgeous, and this day was no exception. Golden light reflected off the water, giving their documentary-style wedding film that dreamy, timeless glow I adore. It’s no wonder couples love this Sparta NJ wedding venue—everywhere you turn looks like a movie scene.

The Sweetest Couple

Crystal and Christopher are truly such an amazing pair. From big laughs to quiet, emotional moments, everything about being with them just felt easy and fun. They’re the kind of couple who make you instantly feel like you’ve known them forever. (Also, they think I’m funny, which made my job even easier when it came to getting those big, natural smiles on camera!)
